dc.description.abstractResumen: Una de las principales preocupaciones de una empresa debe ser el control de riesgos que atentan contra la salud de sus trabajadores y contra sus recursos materiales y financieros, la administración y la gerencia de toda empresa deben asumir su responsabilidad de buscar y poner en prácticas las medidas necesarias, que contribuyen a mantener y mejorar los niveles de eficiencia en las operaciones de la empresa y brindar a sus trabajadores un medio laboral seguro. La organización internacional del trabajo (OIT) y las leyes establecidas en el país que conforman al sistema de riesgos profesionales, ha de elaborar un programa de salud ocupacional pendiente a preservar, mantener y mejorar la salud individual y colectiva de los trabajadores en sus correspondientes ocupaciones y que deben ser desarrolladas en forma multidisciplinaria.en_ES
