Abstract
La investigación pretende identificar la apropiación de competencias para el desarrollo sostenible en estudiantes de noveno grado de la IE Diego Echavarría misas de Itagüí, a través de la implementación del Modelo de Coordenadas Curriculares, el cual permite mediante el uso de técnicas e instrumentos, acercar a los estudiantes al entendimiento de las problemáticas del entorno local y global en un marco colaborativo, para promover el alcance de un futuro sostenible. La investigación obedece a un enfoque mixto cualitativo y cuantitativo con prevalencia cuantitativa, un alcance descriptivo y una naturaleza experimental. Los resultados generales de la intervención pedagógica determinaron que no existe significancia estadística respecto al desempeño de los estudiantes en la ejecución de la competencia global, sin embargo, se identificaron variaciones en algunos de los constructos evaluados, que denota apropiación de los estudiantes en temas a los que tuvieron exposición durante la intervención.
Abstract This research aims to identify the acquisition of competencies for sustainable development among ninth-grade students at Diego Echavarría Misas Educational Institution, located in the municipality of Itagüí, through the implementation of the Curricular Coordinates Model. This model, using pedagogical techniques and tools, seeks to engage students in understanding local and global issues within a collaborative framework, with the goal of contributing to a sustainable future. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, both qualitative and quantitative, with a quantitative predominance, a descriptive scope, and an experimental nature. The results of the pedagogical intervention indicate that there is not statistical significance in students' performance in global competencies. However, variations were observed in some evaluated constructs, reflecting a degree of competency acquisition in the topics address during the intervention.
