Abstract
Abstract Digital transformation has become a strategic priority for manufacturing companies in Colombia, particularly within a context of increasing competitiveness and accelerated technological change. However, its progress depends largely on organizational culture and employees’ willingness to integrate new digital tools into their daily work. This study will examine how cultural components within a manufacturing company in northern Valle de Aburrá enable or hinder the digital transformation process, using a mixed-methods approach with a quantitative emphasis. A structured survey based on Denison’s model will be administered, and semi-structured interviews with leaders and managers will be conducted to deepen the findings. Results are expected to indicate that cultural dimensions such as adaptability, internal communication, and leadership significantly influence technological adoption, while factors such as resistance to change, technostress, and lack of strategic clarity act as barriers. Based on the diagnosis, a cultural strategy will be proposed to strengthen participation, continuous learning, and organizational coherence to advance digital transformation efforts.
