Auditoría energética del uso racional de la energía en la Universidad de Envigado mediante medición remota LoT y análisis de datos

Abstract

El proyecto realiza una auditoría energética en la Universidad de Envigado enfocado a optimizar el uso de la energía eléctrica abordando la norma ISO 50002:2014 y fomentar la sostenibilidad institucional. Actualmente, la universidad carece de un sistema automatizado que permita monitorear en tiempo real su consumo energético, lo cual dificulta detectar ineficiencias, sobrecargas y pérdidas eléctricas. Para abordar esta problemática, se planteó implementar un sistema de medición remota basado en tecnología IoT (Internet de las Cosas), capaz de recopilar, transmitir y analizar datos eléctricos en tiempo real. Este sistema permitió identificar patrones de consumo, detectar anomalías y proponer estrategias para mejorar la eficiencia energética.

Abstract The project proposes to carry out an energy audit at the University of Envigado with the purpose of optimizing the use of electrical energy, in compliance with the ISO 50002:2014 standard, and promoting institutional sustainability. Currently, the university does not have an automated system that allows real-time monitoring of its energy consumption, which makes it difficult to detect inefficiencies, overloads, and electrical losses. To address this issue, the implementation of a remote measurement system based on IoT (Internet of Things) technology is proposed, capable of collecting, transmitting, and analyzing electrical data in real time. This system will allow the identification of consumption patterns, detection of anomalies, and the formulation of improvement strategies that contribute to the rational and efficient use of energy, thereby strengthening the institution’s energy management and environmental commitment.
