Abstract
Abstract Electricians must possess the necessary skills and competencies to measure the resistance of grounding systems, which are essential for the protection of both people and equipment in electrical installations. This need is the foundation of the project titled "Analysis of Soil Resistivity Modeled to a Layer Using Megabras MTD20KWR Earth Tester," aimed at deepening and complementing the concepts and competencies covered in courses such as Electrical Analysis, Electrical Installations, and Power Quality. The problem arises from the lack of interactive learning resources that allow students to fully and practically grasp the concepts related to the measurement and analysis of ground resistance. Despite the growing importance of these topics in the industry, educational institutions often lack specialized equipment to provide hands-on experience in these areas. The absence of modern, practical-focused teaching resources hinders the development of essential skills for future electrical engineers. Theoretical instruction, without practical and experimental application, may result in graduates who are ill-equipped to address real-world challenges in grounding system analysis. Therefore, this project emphasizes the need for the development of a theoretical guide and the provision of a Megabras MTD20KWR tester for handson experimentation, aiming to enhance the education of professionals in the field of soil resistivity analysis. The project will be designed to be accessible and adaptable to various educational environments, leveraging modern technologies to ensure effective and comprehensive training in the electrical field.
