Auditoria energética del sistema eléctrico y plan de mejora para la empresa Mecanizados S. A. S.

Abstract

En el presente trabajo de grado se encuentra descrita la auditoria energética realizada a la empresa Mecanizados S.A.S ubicada en el municipio de Vegachí, Antioquia, cuyo propósito principal fue definir el consumo de energía eléctrica de las máquinas utilizadas por la empresa en los trabajos realizados y proponer alternativas destinadas a la reducción de estos consumos energéticos. En este trabajo están descritas las tres actividades realizadas durante el proyecto: la primera actividad consistió en realizar mediciones en cada una de las máquinas durante 3 días a diferentes horas mediante un medidor de red marca FLUKE, lo cual permitió identificar las máquinas de mayor consumo energético que a su vez son los puntos para intervenir (auditoria energética). Luego, con la información encontrada se procedió a proponer alternativas con el fin de reducir este consumo y, por último, se realizó un estudio de viabilidad económica con el propósito de definir cuáles de las alternativas planteadas son viables y cuáles no. Estas actividades también permitieron identificar la posibilidad de cambiar las luminarias fluorescentes por tecnología LED para la reducción del consumo energético de la empresa.-- Abstract This degree work describes the energy audit conducted at the company Mecanizados S.A.S. located in the municipality of Vegachí, Antioquia. Its main purpose was to define the electrical energy consumption of the machines used by the company in the works performed and to propose alternatives aimed at reducing these energy consumptions. In this work are described the three activities carried out during the project: The first activity consisted in taking measurements in each of the machines during 3 days at different times using a FLUKE network meter, which allowed identifying the machines with the highest energy consumption, which in turn are the points to intervene (energy audit). Then, with the information found, we proceeded to propose alternatives in order to reduce this consumption and, finally, an economic feasibility study was conducted in order to define which of the proposed alternatives are viable and which are not. These activities also made it possible to identify the possibility of changing the fluorescent lighting fixtures for LED technology to reduce the company's energy consumption.
